Laurie Sellars

Student Fellow
Laurie Sellars is an Environmental Studies PhD student at NYU. Her research centers around humans’ relationships with and exploitation of the oceans and aquatic animals, with a focus on aquaculture and wildlife tourism. Prior to NYU, she was the Postgraduate Fellow with the Law, Environment & Animals Program at Yale Law School, where she was also an Associate Research Scholar. Laurie studied economics and political science at Swarthmore College and received an MA in Animal Studies from NYU.
