MISSION AND VISION

Our mission is to advance understanding of how humanity affects animals and the environment at scale.

Our vision is a world where humans, animals, and ecosystems are able to flourish together.

We pursue this goal by conducting and supporting research, outreach, and—through our Food Impact Program—field-building activities.

In its fifth year, CEAP deepened its focus on animal agriculture. A live animal markets and zoonotic disease report with Harvard partners drew major media attention, while a scoping paper on pathways beyond meat advanced future publications. CEAP also released a major aquatic animal protection report and completed projects on plant-based meat history and improving medical and veterinary education.
